The City and the Day Care Action Council of Illinois operate a one stop shop hotline for parents seeking child care and pre-school programs.

To identify child care programs near your home or work, call 773-769-8000.  When you call, experienced operators will help you determine if you are eligible for Head Start or other subsidized child care programs.  It's even possible to begin the enrollment process over the phone.
