How can kids get help with their homework? |
 |
One of Chicago's finest assets is the Chicago Public Libraries. Every day, thousands of kids visit their local library and receive homework assistance. Libraries are clean, quiet and safe places where students can escape distractions and feel supported by library staff and plenty of resources. At the library, students can access computers and the Internet. There are a number of homework assistance sites online. For example, visit the Chicago Neighborhood Learning Network, sponsored by the Chicago Public Schools, to sample on-line resources (www.cnln.cps.k12.il.us/stu_homework.html). If you need to know the location of your nearest Chicago Public Library, call the City's non-emergency hotline, 311, or use the Find Locations guide on this website. |
