Mayor Daley's KidStart is about RAISING GREAT KIDS!

Mayor Daley's KidStart web site provides families and kids with resources to have fun, to learn and to become GREAT KIDS.  The City is working with public and private partners to offer more programs for youth outside of the classroom.  For our youngest children (ages 0-5), families need child care and pre-school programs that support good health and education.  As children get older (ages 6-12), families work hard to keep them safe and learning, especially after school (between the hours of 3 to 6 pm) when many family members are working.  As teens grow into young adults (ages 13-18), they become more independent.  The Mayor is committed to offering programs that engage them and inspire them to make the most of their education or work opportunities.  Use Mayor Daley's KidStart web site to connect with programs and information to meet your family's needs.
